Payzone – DCC and Parking Tag Christmas Promotion
In the run up to Christmas 2020, Parking Tag and DCC launched a campaign that ran across their website, social media and OOH. The campaign objectives were to create Parking Tag brand awareness, increase social media engagement, app downloads and registered customers/increased transactions.
Each week Parking Tag asked consumers to recommend a different category of Dublin destination in a bid to showcase what amazing destinations Dublin has to offer. They announced daily winners of Parking Tag credit, vouchers, and a large overall prize of a hotel stay.

The artwork designed needed to encapsulate some of Dublin’s most famous driving destinations. In the main campaign image, you can see two people driving through a snowy Dublin City Centre landscape. To add some inspiration, we contextualized a map for Phoenix Park, a visitor’s guide for Malahide Castle, and a Dun Laoghaire sticker. Without trying to sway the audience too much, the post in which consumers voted for ‘Best Dublin destination to drive to’ we placed a car in a mountainous area with sign posts for both northside and southside coastal areas.
With the hashtags #staylocal #shoplocal, this was a great message during the Covid-19 lockdown and in the run up to Christmas 2020. Gaining 351 organic likes, 327 comments and 96 shares; Parking Tag gained increased brand awareness as well as advertising lots of local businesses during a time in which I’m sure they were eternally grateful for the exposure.
