The Covid-19 pandemic has created a huge market for contactless payment solutions. Payzone, Ireland’s leading payment solutions provider, is perfectly positioned to respond with a wide range of options for online, phone and retail contactless payments.
Against this background, it was essential to raise awareness of Payzone and how it can help any businesses. Social media, in the form of LinkedIn and Facebook, was identified as the ideal platform for organic and paid messages. However, persuasive content had to be created quickly…

Clear explanatory messaging was used across five posts delivered each month, for three months, via LinkedIn and Facebook. Four of these posts used a static image while the fifth was a motion graphics animation. Each post highlighted a key aspect of how Payzone enabled contactless payments using mobile terminals and even mobile phones. Also highlighted was Payzone’s ability to integrate with mobile apps. This means a company’s existing user interface and experience doesn’t have to change even if Payzone runs in the background. The three separate videos were also cut into a single version. Payzone could then upload this to their website to tell their full online payments story.






As government measures to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic are still in force, it’s still too early to identify the full impact of the campaign. But with so many retailers now asking customers to use contactless payments, the campaign was very well placed to strike the right note.
